May and the beginnings of June!

On May 16th I celebrated Will's birthday with the Reno's. Paul got to blow out the candles and we all went to see Prince Caspian after dinner. My parents were in Nashville visiting so I thought Gail and I could tag a long for the visit. It was so sweet to get caught up on the Nashville crew. For those that I missed I will be back in October!
The Lindes are below. We lived in a rental property they had one summer my parents were back. Great friends and it is fun to see how much the kids have grown. Taller than me of course but also able to have great conversation!
Emily Ann and Mrs Ramer are next. They have been faithful friends as long as I can remember.....
The Elrods have been there through the years...
..and the Havers used to let me walk their dog Ginger and Mrs Ruby kept my bird Alabaster when we were away on trips. They are getting older but are sharp as ever.
Seeing Jill and her new husband was a treat! It had been too long since we had made a connection! (my camera has been taking blurry photos, I will correct that some time in the near future)

We spent an evening at Mau Mau's house with my Aunt Leslie and all of the Beall. Marcelle was the cousin I initially moved to CA with. It was an evening full of laughter!
Betsie and Justin are the greatest. They have bought a home and just made a new edition to their family, Louie the dog.....
...and Becky's family also has a new member. I never thought Becky would look so natural with an infant in her arms. She is a wonderful aunt and I am excited to see how she will spoil him! Congratulations Andrews!

There are some special friends who I didn't get pictures of. Maybe when I deal with the fuzzy photo issue there will be more in October!

Nashville was a time to reconnect with people with whom I have history. Through the summer I am home for about three weeks and then gone the fourth. First CA, then Nashville, and to Washington State. I miss not being in the same state as my family but am so thankful that they are in the same country for this time in life.

When you are in this part of the world don't forget that their are people in Memphis that would like to see you.

Sounds like one adventure after another! I am glad you have so many friends and family to surround you! If you are ever in the Chicago area and need a place, our door is open!

Ruth,

Seems like we may need to buy some new shirts for me and Gail. Mom's wardrobe variety makes the rest of us Schroeder's look a little shoddy. Glad that you took the time to update the site. It was great to look at the pictures from over here in Bangladesh. Hope you and Mom and Gail have a great week.
